We spent our Easter weekend at a hotel in Minakami and were pleasantly surprised by the spacious rooms and excellent choice of food for breakfast and dinner. The location was also great, offering lovely scenic views and the opportunity to walk by the river. we really enjoyed the wood fire in the lounge, which added to the cozy atmosphere of the hotel.
We found it disappointing that there was no in-room Wi-Fi nor English TV channels. the staff had difficulty understanding our English requests.

The service provided by the staff, both at the reception and in the dining area, was excellent! I enjoyed the varied and delicious breakfast and dinner options. The scenic river walk, with beautiful autumn colours, was an added bonus. The wood fire in the lounge provided a cosy and warm atmosphere. The hot spring baths were enjoyable.
Couldn't find any faults at all.

The onsen at the hotel was a highlight of our city trip, and definitely worth trying out. the spacious rooms were a nice surprise, giving us plenty of space to relax and unwind. The shuttle service from the train station was also a plus, as it made our arrival easier.
The hotel felt quite outdated and not as comfortable as we had hoped. The English language barrier with the staff also made communication difficult.
